What is self storage?

Self-Storage is an easy concept. We rent you a steel partitioned room - anything from locker to garage size, you arrive with your goods, load them into your room, lock the door with your own padlock and that's it!

You're free to visit your room anytime during our opening hours to remove or add goods as you please. We have trolleys on hand to help you if you need them.

You can rent the room for as little as 7 days or for as long as you like, with discounts for long term storage.

We do have a list of prohibited goods (anything illegal, flammable etc.) but other than that store whatever you like, your entire furniture , sports kit, granny's favourite bits, his sad old car magazines, your last years wardrobe (don't worry we have big units for this purpose!)

Provided you give us 7 days notice you only pay for the days you occupy the unit.

Describe a Self Storage Facility?

Well, most facilities look like an ordinary warehouse from the outside. At the front you will find parking space leading to a reception that is warm and staffed by friendly people there to help you. Close to reception there will be a large entrance straight into the main warehouse. In our case the entrance is large enough to reverse your vehicle into so that you can unload under cover. A security gate within the unloading area, operated by coded keypad, can then be opened to give you access to the storage facility.

Once inside you will find rows of clean, well-lit corridors, lined either side by steel panelled walls and doors. The doors are numbered and each one opens into a storage room.
